Privacy Without Migration

Most privacy solutions require users and applications to move to a new L1 or L2 — abandoning their existing ecosystem, liquidity, and user base in the process. Bermuda takes a fundamentally different approach.

Bermuda is an invisible privacy layer that sits on top of any EVM chain. Existing applications can enable privacy for their users without forcing a migration to a new network. Users stay on the chain they know — with the same dApps, the same liquidity, and the same UX they are used to. Nothing breaks.

For wallets, protocols, and services, this means:

  • No ecosystem switch — Your users keep their existing accounts, tokens, and dApp connections.
  • No liquidity fragmentation — Assets stay on the chain where the volume and infrastructure already exist.
  • No UX disruption — Bermuda operates transparently underneath. The end-user experience remains unchanged, with privacy added as an invisible layer.

Compliant by Design

Privacy without compliance is a non-starter for regulated entities. Bermuda builds compliance into the protocol — not as an afterthought, but as a core layer. Services can define their own rules and stay compliant without custom development. See the Compliance section for details.

Flexible Privacy

Not every use case requires the same level of privacy. Bermuda provides a spectrum — from fully shielded pool-internal transfers to stealth address interactions with external protocols. Developers choose the right level for their application, and the SDK handles the rest.

Drop-in Integration

Bermuda's SDK connects to any existing on-chain infrastructure. If your application already works on an EVM chain, adding privacy is an integration — not a rebuild. No contract rewrites, no architecture changes.
